Thank you for viewing my listing! ◆ Please read the following important notes carefully before purchasing! ▼ This is a rare and valuable Quercus acutissima (Japanese White Oak) log infused with Reishi mushroom mycelium and buried in soil, as it is becoming discontinued and hard to find. ▼ This product is made by inoculating fresh Quercus acutissima logs from Mie Prefecture with Mannentake (Reishi mushroom) mycelium and burying them in soil, creating a natural environment. ▼ As shown in the product images, the cut surfaces and exterior of the log are slightly firm due to the Mannentake mycelium and attached soil. However, a skewer can be inserted into the center of the cut surface, and an awl can be easily inserted, indicating a moderately soft texture. ▼ Images 1 and 3, and images 2 and 4 show the cut surfaces flipped upside down. ▼ This is an ideal spawning log for stag beetles such as Lucanus taurus, Lucanus maculifemoratus, Aegosoma sinica, and other colorful beetle species, as well as difficult-to-breed species that are reluctant to lay eggs. ▼ It is recommended to set up the spawning environment with a slightly dry condition. ● Spawning success examples: #Lucanus taurus #Lucanus maculifemoratus #Prosopocoilus westwoodi #Neolucanus swinhoei #Hexarthrius forficula #Prosopocoilus boucomonti #Prosopocoilus grandis #Miyama stag beetle species #Prionoplus spinosus #Dorcus hopei binodulosus #Dorcus schenklingi #Prosopocoilus fulgens #Aegosoma sinica #Hexarthrius forficula species, etc. ★ Quercus acutissima soil-buried Reishi spawning log 2 x M size set! ■ Diameter: Approx. 9.5cm - 8.0cm ■ Length: Approx. 12.5cm - 12.0cm (These are the maximum and minimum dimensions of the two logs.) ◆ There are holes in several places where an awl was inserted to check the hardness. Please note that some soil may still be attached. ◆ The logs have been sufficiently aged, so some may have peeling bark, but this does not affect their usability. Please understand and acknowledge this. ◆ Measurements are taken by an amateur with a measuring tape, so please allow for some error in dimensions. ★★★ Important Notes ★★★ ■ After purchasing, please promptly contact us via the transaction navigation to inform us of your preferred delivery date and time, if any. ■ We will refuse transactions with individuals who cannot or will not communicate through transaction messages, or who are unreliable.
